Job description:PS: If you have called me on mobile, you will know I am abroad. Please express your interest, quote, availability and mobile contact number on this website and I will contact you on Sunday after 5 pm. Many thanks, Atull Hello, I am looking for a locksmith to partially replace a Fuhr 856 Type 1 lock (with rollers). The locking mechanism itself is fine, but the latch has snapped off. Hence ideally, a new latch (part number MZ803AF35 or MZ803AF45 on page 659 on the Fuhr catalogue on http://www.fuhr-katalog.de/) is required. I've found it difficult to order the latch alone in the UK. However, the lock unit on http://www.discountlocks.co.uk/Fuhr-Overnight-35mm-Multipoint-Lock-Deadlocking-Ge-p/fuhr%20fu85635.htm I am led to believe can be inserted in the place of the unit already in place by a locksmith, though it either needs to br cut and welded in, or the latch removed from this lock and inserted back into the existing one. I can attach several pictures showing the existing fuhr lock and the area where the latch snapped off, pictures of the replacement latch on the Fuhr site and a picture of the snapped latch part, by email if requested. Please note that this is a rented property with tenant. I can make payment upon invoice by bank transfer or cheque. Please can you quote for the job and advise on the parts you would require? At this point I need to verify whether it is a 35mm depth or 45mm depth latch (I'm sure it is 35mm), I can find out when required. The job will take place in Watford (WD18). Ideal replacement date would be around Monday 18th July or as soon as possible afterwards. Many thanks, Atull Gupta PS: I will not be available on mobile until Sunday 17th at 5 pm
