Damp patch half way up bedroom wall in Claremont

Job description:I have a damp patch half way up my bedroom wall that has blown the plaster. I also have a samll damp patch in my dining room half way up the wall. The dining room is driectly below the bedroom. The wall in question is an internal wall to my neoghbours. Need advice and whatever needs to be done to resolve this problem.
