Job description:We converted our garage into a soundproofed music room 6 years ago. The work was done by a company called The Noise Doctors who are soundproofing specialists. However, I now wish to use the â¿¿music roomâ¿¿ as an office. But there seems to be a damp problem in the room and there is obviously some work that needs doing. We donâ¿¿t think they put a damp proof membrane down before laying the concrete floor â¿¿ so that is one element that needs work. But really we just need an experienced builder to come and take a look and give a quote for the work. My address is 47 Sylvia Avenue, Knowle, Bristol BS3 5BU.
