REPLACING BOILER in Hillhead

Job description:we have moved into a 19th century terraced town house in the west end of glasgow... there is a very old boiler that needs replacing... the gas valve? has gone wrong... the boiler isnt firing up... the timer, the pilot light all is working... in fact I had a bath on thursday... its not monday and we have been without hot water since my thursday bath... is there any help to be had out there?
