Install a new granite hearth underneath an existing (basket) gas fire. in St Charles

Job description:The current granite hearth has cracked, probably due to movement underneath caused by rising damp. I'm looking for the installation of a new hearth (a granite slab that I will purchase separately) and suitable support underneath (including damp prevention). The walls on either side of the fire (inside the chimney) will also need re-rendering. Note the gas fire will need to be moved to do the job - I'm not sure if I need a CORGI registered person to do this.
