Job description:I've had a damp and timber report carried out on my house. This found the following: Ground floor - Evidence of excessive moisture to the walls as well as a small amount of salt contamination. This is due to rising dampness. Work = Hack off all cementicious plasterwork to height of approximately 1 metre. Remove all rubble from site, dirll and inject new damp proof course. Render all walls with specialist materials incorporating the water proofing additives, and plaster skim finish. Areas to be treated = front lounge, bay area, abutting wall to hallway. chimney breast recess walls, hallway, beneath stairs, rear lounge, chimney brest & rear elevation wall, kitchen, right hand side elevation wall and rear elevation wall.
