Job description:I have rising damp on the two ground floor external side walls (I'm an end terrace) from where the outside alleyway path is higher than my ground floor. I have had one quote for the work which is unfortunately way above my budget. They described the job as such: The remedial action recommended is a follows: 1. Drill 12mm holes as necessary to the walls. 2. Inject a new chemical damp proof course to BS 6576:1992 to walls as detailed. 3. Remove effected plaster from inside of walls up to 30cm above last signs of damp 4. Treat bricks with salt neutraliser 5. Tank area below ground level 6. Apply a coat of waterproof render including salt inhibitor 7. Plaster skim to finish
