Job description:I think I have a rising damp problem and I would like someone to assess it and carry out repairs if required. There's two internal walls showing signs of damp - paint peeling and a totally rotten skirtingboard. Old house with sunken kitcken floor where the problem is most evident. Most of the damp is in the location of the old chimney breast that was removed some years ago and probably had no DPC when built.
