Job description:We are in the process of buying a house. The building survey has come back with the following: Obtain report from specialist damp consultant with respect to high levels of dampness around the property. - Be aware of damp penetration around chimney and need for repairs - Investigate and remedy damp penetration into dining room at high level - Remedy all areas of dampness around the ground floor accommodation depending on findings - Obtain quotations for cost of waterproofing and converting cellar We need some quotes for this work to negotiate with the sellers and would then need to work to take place upon purchase of the house.
