Job description:I am buying a new property in Rochford Essex and the valuation has highlighted a damp problem, apparently the moisture readings in some of the rooms are on the high side, though the property is empty, but one wall in particular has some signs of penetrating damp at floor level,and it has a downpipe on the outside of it that may be leaking or have blockage problems causing it to overflow onto the masonry. I would like a damp proof specialist to visit the property with me and give me a quote on how much it will cost to rectify the problem. thank you.
