Taken plaster off an old firplace in a 1840's cottage, would like to get it back to original form in Woolton

Job description:The fireplace is still intact but has been filled in with concrete in recent years, the condition especially of the lower half looks like it may also be filled with concrete, not sure if this can be salvaged. We have also stipped the floor in the kitchen and have found the original flags however there alos seems to be quite alot of concrete ideally we would like to keep these exposed but think we need some expert advice
