Job description:We are building a new house in north London and intend including a swimming pool (10x3 metres) and a spa (2x2.5 metres, approx) Both will be indoors and as it is a new build those installing the pool will be able to specify their site requirements to ensure the job can be done for as low a price as possible. The pool will be in-ground with the top level with the ground floor of the house. There will be an adjacent basement which will provide more than adequate space for any pumps, filtration and heating equipment. The pool will be 1.2 metres at the shallow end, becoming 2M for most of its length. The slope from 1.2M to 2M will be as short as safety and legislation permit. In addition to cost of build, reducing cost of heating and maintenance are a priority. We are open to all suggestions for methods of heating the pools, including ground and air heat pumps and heat exchangers. We are also open to all suggestions for pool materials and finish, with a preference for those which offer maximum insulation from the surrounding ground and heat retention In addition to price and appearance, we would like you to indicate at what stage the of the house build you would need to begin your work and how long you would expect to be on site.
