Job description:This is a relatively small job for a professional tiler with some experience of bathrooms. Timing: work to be completed by mid december (15th December) as my wife is pregnant and the baby is due just before Xmas. Job: remove existing tiles (match to Wickes tile range) for an area approx 3 to 4 m2 above the bath. Evaluate any damage to plasterboard and replace with aqua board (http://www.lafarge-aquaboard.com) Retile with matching tiles and waterproof adhesive and sealant. You can quote for the aquaboarding separately in case plaster is sound underneath (but I doubt it). The room is not that big so this is a probably a one man job. I've indicated a sub £1000 quote but to be honest I would expect this to be in the $300-700 range.
