Job description:The roof ridge is showing signs of wear. The roof is only eight years old and is reed but some of the hazel cross rods that secure the ridge have become detached. This has only happened after a period of high winds. The lower edge of the ridge looks raggy. There are also some 2 inch diameter holes in the main thatch that look as if birds have pulled out sections of reed. The netting over the ridge still looks in good condition.
