Re-opening fireplace from behind plasterboard in Clarkston

Job description: I have recently moved into a tenement flat and on removing the carpet in the bedroom I noticed there was some tiling on the floor next to a wall. When knocking the wall it is clearly hollow (covered by plasterboard) and I expect it was previously a fireplace. I am looking for someone to come out to knock through this plasterboard to reveal the hole for a fireplace and re-plaster where necessary. Please let me know if you could come out and advise me if this is possible, give me a quote, or point me in the direction of the trademan for this job. I am not looking for any chimney work or fireplace installation at this stage. Thanks
