Sash window frame inspection in Clifton

Job description:During a heavy storm this afternoon, rain water started leaking through the wooden "roof" of my kitchen window surround. The building is a listed Georgian terrace with sash windows measuring 6ft x 4ft. The wood of the "roof" is cracked so water has obviously penetrated between the wooden window surround and the brickwork. I am on the second floor and I have checked upstairs to find a large crack in the rendering covering the brickwork of the balcony above my kitchen window. This must be where the water is penetrating and tracking down to my window surround. Obviously a builder is going to need to look at the rendering, but I'm concerned about my window surround due to the large amount of water leaking through it and the damage that may have been caused. So i would be grateful for advice on hiring somebody to look at this.
