"I was quoted £50 plus VAT for the job by phone, then £65 plus VAT immediately prior to the job. It didn't matter becuase I am a very sataified customer. It may make a difference to some. The gent who did the work was delightful, and also very efficient and didn't make a mess, and even put my loft ladder back for me!"

"Turned up on time and the guy was friendly and chatty. Tried to persuade us that we needed a new digital aerial if we wanted to watch freeview (which we knew we didn't really need). I know the amount we paid to just have the normal aerial reconnected is a fairly standard rate but it does seem an awful lot for the actual work done. Once the aerial was reconnected he plugged in the freeview box to "...see if it worked at all..." and low and behold we had a perfect freeview picture... Nothing against the guy who did the work, but perhaps the company might need to review its sales pitch as there are many people out there who might end up being £200(ish) out of pocket when they don't really need to be."
