Budget Under £100

Job We have an aerial and input into the house, however it appears that the cable has been cut off at the wall and has no connection which I can make use of. I need someone to try and fit either a junction box or another connection to the cable so I can connect it to the tv.

Budget Under £250

Job This is a new installation as we're switching from Virgin to Freeview HD. We have contacted an national aerial company before, but they were unable to do the job as they didn't have suitable ladders to approach the chimney stack from the side of the house and over the roof tiles rather than the apex as there is a tree close by. They wanted to install the aerial on a bracket on the wall, but we don't want this as it's unsightly. We would also like the existing aerial to be removed. Wou'd prefer a local installer, not one of the Nationals.

Comment DC UK Ltd phoned and came to quote for the job within a couple of hours of it being posted on Rated People. I'd had a bad experience earlier that day with a fitter from one of the national aerial companies who, needless to say, was sent packing. DC UK's quote was in fact better, and I felt a sense of confidence (and great relief) that I was now dealing with a genuine, conscientious, local business who listened to what I wanted and satisfied me that it was indeed possible. The work was carried out this morning, and I'm absolutely delighted. A gem of a company. What more can you say? Tom
