Hard working. Would be better if communicated more to avoid misunderstading and to confirm any fittings.

Tony has turned my tiny, sad, boring bathroom into a spacious new room that I keep going into to make sure it's really my room:
My initial request to him was to fit a new vanity unit with basin, remove all old tiles and re-tile, fit lino, a bath-screen and some accesssories.
At our first meeting he provided inspiration, ideas and a unique tiling design and followed through with a very reasonable quote.
He was able to adapt to the changes I made to the initial job spec (floor tiles instead of lino/install a back-lit mirror) and as we went along provided ideas and accessories that improved the end result dramatically. Any additional costs were always discussed and agreed before installation and the final decison was always mine.
The quality of his floor and wall tiling is excellent: Tony is methodical and exact, always aware of how the end result will look.
He is neat and tidy in his work laying down dust sheets to protect the house and tidying up in the evenings.
He was good company, trustworthy, an excellent source of instruction and information for a novice diyer with other rooms needing work - and he kept my cat entertained during the few breaks he took.
All in all he provided excellent value for money and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again or to recommend him.
