Budget Under £500

Job Job = Tiling in bathroom around the shower over the bath approx area 8.5 ft width and 5 ft high from bath. The area also includes a widow sil and a line of tiles at the back of the bath to wall approx 10 standard size tiles. Area is currently 2 tiles high from bath and then wall paper up to the ceiling, so very few old tiles to remove. I would like just plain old white tiles and have it looking all nice and flush also Reseal bath and sink to wall please as this has perished. I am looking for quotes, when the work could be done and how long would it take a day or 2??? i will probably need to arrange some one to be at the property. Budget Under £1,000

Job We need our bathroom refitted using some of the existing features (bath, sink, taps, cupboards) but we need new tiles and flooring including fitting an extractor fan. The bath is currently not fitted very well so will need redoing. We also have the problem that the walls the bath sits on are not square or level. I would ideally like tradesmen interested in doing the work to visit to see what needs doing and discuss it with me before quoting. Thank you.

Job Seven bedroom house, 3 rooms need ensuite fitting to them, relatively compact but to a nice standard as the house is for younf professionsals.

Comment Initially I was impressed with CBL Home Improvements when they fitted some new windows for us. However, on the final inspection I noticed that a couple of the windiws were clicking. They told me that they would fix the problem once they had ordered some new brackets but could they still be paid for the job. I agreed to do this but that I would hold back some of the money back until the problem was fixed as I have had trades promise to come back and fix falts before and you never see them again. They took offence to this proposition stating that they would never do that to a customer. And sure enough this is exactly what happened with CBL, in fact it was Robert Large who fitted the windows (one of the brothers of Christopher Large). I tried to contact several times after and they promised they would come back after holidays etc. Eventually I gave up. Would i use them again? - Perhaps if the price was right but no money would exchange hands until the job was finished. Nick

Job For tradesmen to change bathroom suite. Most expensive fibre glass bathtub. Change current shower to chrome type also replace the bathroom, toilet, sink, old tiles and panels.
