1. Remove and dispose existing bathtub, sink and toilet
2. Fit new tub with bath panels
3. Assemble and fit bathroom vanity units and one wall unit(basin, wall and toilet units only) with basin and back to wall toilet.
Basin unit is 600 mm and toilet is 500 mm.
Wall unit is 500 mm and wil go on top of toilet.
Unit is similar to what is displayed here
http://www.diy.com/nav/rooms/bathrooms/bathroom-furniture/modular-bathroom-furniture/complete_units/Cooke-and-Lewis-Furniture-Combination-For-Basin-and-Toilet-11348699
except that unit with mirror door is absent. Instead, a simple mirror need to be installed.
4. Install extractor fan (there is no extractor fan in bathroom) and replace bathroom light.
5. Install a towel radiator (there is none currently)
6. Install basin mixer and bath filler with shower head
7. Tile bathroom (full height + floor) - total area around 17 sq. meters
8. Install a small glass shelf and a blind in bathroom window.
Notes:-
1. All material supplied except see point 2.
2. Expect good quality grout, waterproof ply/cement board(for floor)
and any small pipe or electric wire to be provided by fitter
3. All electric work need to be certified by qualified electrician
4. Tiles are standard size (316x316 mm floor and 400x300mm wall).
However - I need a single strip of border tiles (200mmx75mm) to be installed all around the bathroom
5. Most of the material is already delivered or delivering this week.
Work can start immediately after agreeing to contract terms.
Quite happy with the work. Very honest and straight forward. Took little longer then estimated - other than that everything was as per our expectation.rajesh
very small bathroom fitted with bath (shower) over the top and toilet with a very small sink. We need a normal sized sink and the shower/bath to be moved to a position where a tall person can stand up.
I can't comment on their work re quality and value given that I did not actually get to hire them. My ratings relate to the fact that they came out to give me a quote for some fairly urgent work. The chap who came out seemed professional and I was looking forward to getting the quote which he said would be with me within a couple of days. Some two weeks later I am yet to receive a reply to two chase up emails and a phone call. To not even respond is just unprofessional and rude and inexplicable given the current work climate. Has been a complete waste of time from my point of view and does not exactly fill you with confidence about how reliable they would be if they were actually hired.shazia
I have bought a new bathroom suite (sink, bath, toilet) which I would like installed in a slightly different position to the current suite. I would also like the tiling redone.
no problems, very friendly, great plumber and highly recommended! Thanks very much. Lisa
To remove existing shower/bath, toilet, radiator and sink unit and replace with new. Sink unit to be moved around corner and shower will have to be plumbed in as do not want to use exiting position above old bath. (bath is to be removed totally). Toilet and radiator to be in same position. Walls to be tiled (ceiling to floor) and floor to be tiled in slate. Room size = 244cmx180cm.
Excellent work on a complete bathroom refurbishment. Great attention to detail and coped with unforseen issues very professionally. We now have a great modern bathroom where once was a '70s monstrosity. Highly recommended.Robert
Current bathroom was fitted when the house was built in the 1980s. It needs upgrading and better use making of the space. Recommendations also sought about improving ventilation (there's no window) and sound proofing.
Adrian gave sensible advice and provided a good quality, prompt service. Although I was not on site as the property is rented out, he kept me informed at each stage of the work and kept to the schedule we'd agreed. He liaised well with the tenants to ensure minimum disruption and all was competed as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.E
