Bath seal has failed, rendering the shower useless. The bath when full drops maybe 3mm on the side that the failed seal is on causing water to leak through when the shower is in use, I think the frame under it is only present on the unsealed side and if it is actually there, it's inadequate on the tile side. The bath is dug into the wall as usual on both of these sides but the seal was made with a plastic sheath type thing siliconed in. As much as I'd like to get a new bathroom sorted, I just can't afford that at all as we have a baby on the way in July. Therefore, ideally the bath would be removed (as well as the plastic seal); the frame under it improved to ensure it doesn't drop on one side when full so it remains level; a new shower mixer tap installed to the bath (which I will supply); and then the bath to be re-sealed carefully using good quality water proof white silicone - this is a second floor flat so I can't afford a leak having already paid out on a leak through on it once...I would imagine this is doable without the tiles needing work.
