Updated : The bathroom is 2.2m x 1.75m. The new units are to go in the same place as the old units. The only change is that the bath is to be rotated through 180 degrees so that the shower is at the other end. Original : Strip out and dispose of old bathroom fitments, accessories, tiling and vinyl flooring. Re-use power shower if possible. Make good, re-tile and fit new bathroom fitments and accessories (I will source bath with shower panels, low level WC and sink and pedestal). Install extractor fan, operated on light switch. Install aqua-loc flooring and repaint where required (ceiling, walls and door) with suitable bathroom paint.
JP provided a competitive quote and finished the work on time just before my daughter came home from University. John and Pete always turned up when they said they would and were pleasant to deal with. The work entailed stripping out the old bathroom, re-plastering, tiling, painting and fitting out the new bathroom. They did an excellent job and dealt with any small changes at a very reasonable cost. They cleared up after themselves every day and kept the disturbance to a minimum. I would use JP again.Andrew
I really wanted to leave good feedback for these guys as they were very easy going and fun to work with.
Unfortunately, to keep these reviews genuine I must let others know that their finishing off can be poor. Silly plumbing leaks, bad and inaccurate fitting and some breakages to new sanitary items made the project more difficult than it should have been. We have now employed others to finish off our bathrooms.
I still recommend the chaps at JP but warn others to watch the quality of their work.Tony
Replace existing bathroom suite - small vanity unit with basin in. Install new shower. Maybe electric towel rail. Tile certain areas and paint rest including ceiling. May have to level floor. As inexpensive as possible.
realistic quote that he kept to. Used excellent tiler and electrician. They all worked quickly and non stop while they were here and cleared up leaving no mess! I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone. Mary

Re-tile
Replace skirting board

Bathroom requires complete refurbishment, designed with your assistance and to include:
Tiled floor (currently lino), new wall tiles (and removal of old), spotlighting, extractor installation (currently none present), new bath, toilet and basin, painting of any non tiled areas and removal of old suite. Some minor repairs to windowsill also required. Will consider underfloor heating, budget allowing.
Toilet currently has a macerator, ideally would like routed to waste pipe and macerator removed.
Room size is 2.4 x 2.3 metres

We will do the ripping out. We will also do the design (no change from current layout). We will also be supplying the new sink, toilet, shower, tray and enclosure (recessed type). We would require someone to do a little patch up plastering (on a wall that will be tiled), first fit plumbing (shouldn't be much change), retile the floor and walls and fit the new suite. We will get an electrician in separately to put a new light in and wire up a heated/lit mirror (unless of course, you can do that too!). Any painting will be done by ourselvs.
