Reviews of Bathroom Specialists in Glasgow, Glasgow Area

Unsold lead, updated details: This is a very small bathroom so I don't see this as a large scale job or plan and I will provide all materials. The cost of the job will be the labour. Original: I have a very small enclosed bathroom within my one bedroom flat. I am looking to get a new bathroom suite installed as well as my tiles being re-grouted. The tiles are in good condition so I only see the benefit being in the new grout. Customer owns and lives at this property
Finlay delivered an excellent service. Gave a really competitive quote and offered advice on materials. The work was done to a high standard and he was extremely punctual. Gave me confidence and piece of mind from the start. I would highly recommend.
Supply and install bathroom suite including wc (concealed cistern), semi inset whb, bath (including integral shower screen), new electric shower, over tiling bath/shower enclosure, replace existing laminate flooring, remove existing shower tray and sanitaryware, fit out existing shower enclosure to act as linen cupboard with louvred door, partial repair of water damaged chipboard flooring at shower,
emove all existing sanitaryware.
Hard working and showed a lot of pride in their work.
Very considerate and accommodating.
Good advice and follow up service.
Would happily recommend James and Brad to anyone.
New bathroom plus some small general carpentry required, possibly new wooden flooring. Need good quality reputable tradesmen for the job. I won't pay for poor work.
I would recommend Stephen and Kenny for any work you require doing. the initial quote given did seem to increase but in fairness this was down to a certain female within my house choosing the most expensive materials possible. Why pay for an item if you can find one similar at double the price eh? We will now be using them for a new kitchen installation, having seen the quality of their work. Good, professional work at reasonable prices.Highly recommended and trustworthy..
Provision and fitting of replacement over bath shower screen. The current fitting between the screen and the wall bracket has broken and I can't find a replacement part. I'd like it to be fitted one evening midweek this week or next week if possible
Quoted and job completed on the same day and in the evening. Highly rated and would definitely use again
need shower retiled and new shower tray and door installed due to problems with damp and mould.
cut edges of tiles ragged and squint. shower door part siliconed part grouted. grout crumbling & movement in frame. silicone seal covered in dirt & dust which has dried in. silicone inside shower very messy. screws holding shower door will rust as no plastic caps on, 1 screw missing from door. shower caddy for shampoo etc put right under shower unit, can't use top shelf. told to buy 8 boxes of tiles, used 3 boxes, only retiled bottom half & said that was what he was going to do all along
Require removal of current shower, shower tray/enclosure, sink, tiles & towel rail. Install new shower, sink & towel rail and re-tile the walls (1/2 height only). New air vent possibly required also. Looknig for a price to the whole job and this can either include the fittings or we can buy the goods for install only)
Bathroom refurbishment job started 3rd Oct to last 6 days. 14th November, job finally finished - by another tradesman whom we had to pay over and above the cost of the bathroom.
The job went over time, over budget, and left with a broken macerator and out of pocket.
It is fair to say the job was a difficult one, it's an old house and the existing plumbing was poor, hence the reason for the refit. However, timescales continually slipped and promises made to catch up were never kept. This was due to health issues on behalf on Iain and him having to continually redo his own work in order to make it function as it should (i.e. drain water).
After the second visit to repair the macerator, it was still malfunctioning (leaking sewage), Iain was contacted again as he had previously promised to buy a replacement 'off the shelf' and repair immediately in the event he broke it. Instead, he asked us to wait yet another week while he got one online as it was cheaper for him, then did not turn up on day agreed for installation. As such we have still had to pay a third party to come and repair the unit Iain broke and have not been refunded the money. We either get ignored or fobbed off with various excuses/hardships which only seem to factor in his needs and not customers hardships.
We have more work planned in the future and would never use this company f again.
We feel sorely let down by someone we paid a lot of money to do a good job (2 years we saved for this) and are also now out of pocket, money we cant afford.
Fit bathroom accessories to plasterboard walls, eg towel rails, toilet roll holder, shelf,
Showed up when they said they would, very friendly & got on well with my kitten ;)
Excellent work, completed in a couple of hours, cleaned up after themselves, took their shoes off at the door to protect my new carpets. Highly recommended, would def use again if similar work needed in future.
