"Was left with a toilet that wasn't screwed down, a leak in the stop cock which we then had to pay for an emergency plumber to come out. Really frustrating and has tainted our view on the new bathroom."

"I have to reconsider my first response, put in when the job was finished.
We have had to had the plumber back on three occasions as we had leaks. Unfortunately for me, he didn't empty (or ask me to) the water completely from the toilet and that meant that water was dripped onto the floor when he removed it. The second time he came to do this, I emptied it completely, but he flushed the toilet before moving it - yet more water on the floor.
Now we have had to completely empty the bathroom to remove the flooring, the underside of which was going mouldy, and I am now getting a builder in to see if we need to take the whole lot out, dry out the floor and start again!
While the plumber is a nice chap and very helpful, I would say he is a general tradesman, not a plumber. "

"I'm very happy with the work done by Neil of Daisy Interiors.
The work didn't go as planned, mainly because of the difficulty of getting the units that I had bought into the space. Putting in the small corner unit in the cloakroom was very difficult, as the plumbing in the new sink would not match where the old fittings came from! He had to go and buy a couple of items to make things 'fit'.
Also, the toilet put in the en-suit kept leaking, and after trying so long to remedy this, it was found to be faulty, with a small crack - no wonder it leaked!!
Neil is very hard working, pleasant and I was happy to have him do the work. I'll certainly recommend him to my neighbours. I will be keeping his business card available for future jobs.
