James and team provided a competitive estimate along with the other tradesmen who estimated this job through rated people.com. However what impressed us with James's estimate was the level of detail provided and the impression he and his colleagues made during the initial visit and subsequent conversations. As agreed James and team started on time and the job proceeded pretty much inline with the timeframe discussed. However the process wasn't so rigid that there wasn't room to make running adjustments to our requirements and specifications as the job progressed. James and team were very thorough in their preparation to minimise the impact to the rest of the house through the use of dust sheets etc which was much appreciated and the standard of work completed is to a very high standard. I would highly recommend Peacocks Plumbing; James's team and the other trades brought in through James were a pleasure to meet and, we are extremely pleased with the finished product. We certainly won't hesitate to use this company again.

We have a separate bathroom and toilet on the second floor. Toilet dimensions (m): Width 0.72 Depth 1.21 Height 2.5 Window (w x h) 0.49 x 0.8 Door 0.72 x 1.96. Bathroom dimensions: Width 2.1 Depth 1.91 Height 2.5 Window 1.08 x 0.85 Door 0.72 x 1.96. We would like: Old suite removed and plaster made good NB plaster in poor state in areas, p shaped 1700mm bath with curved screen where the current bath is with mixer taps, a mixer shower run off the boiler, a free standing cabinet in the bathroom, vanity unit with sink and mixer tap, tiled floor and walls to the ceiling in the bathroom (ceramic), a modern toilet, Tiled floor and walls to ceiling in the toilet, Also if possible new ceiling with spot lights in both rooms and a new window in the bathroom only.
Adam was very helpful in the planning of our new bathroom and took time to make sure we were happy with every detail prior to work starting. The quote given was within our budget and very reasonable. The work started on time and once Adam started the job he arrived daily on time as he said he would until the job was finished. When problems were encountered - the amount of plastering was more extensive than first estimated, this did not change the price given. We are very pleased with our new bathroom and would happily recommend Adam to our friends.
