Job We have a blocked outlet pipe from the bathroom sink and need it unblocking. already stripped out that I can physically do needs a professional.

Budget Under £4,000

Job I have already seen the suite I want in a bathroom specialists brochure and have picked the tiles out locally. However I would prefer that the fitter can buy the suite, tiles and all other materials on my behalf. The job would include the removal of the current suite, floor, wall tiles etc.

Comment We aredelighted with our new bathroom. It has been finished to the highest quality and is a massive improvement on old grotty old one! Danny at DWF is a top bloke as his his colleague, who completed the job easily in the 5 days they said they would, whereas other companies had given us estimates of between a week and a half and 2 weeks! Nothing was too much trouble and although we spent several weeks going back and forth asking him questions about different options we wanted to price up and consider, the start date stayed the same. Danny and his mate were friendly, trustworthy, happy to explain everything, and I had no issue leaving two relative strangers in my house for the rest of the week as I got such a good impression of them from day one. During the work they always made sure we had a working toilet at the end of each day and also hot running water so there was very little inconvenience. They were also very tidy workers and, unlike our last building experience with a company called Armistead, we did not have to moount our own clean up operation at the end of each day just to be able to live in our house again. The only slight issue we have is that they cut a bit too much off our bathroom door when rehanging it in order for it to clear the new tiled floor, however Danny has said that he will call in to deal with any snagging when they are working in our area again soon so that is good enough for me. We will definaitely use DWF again. Nick

Job Small bathroom requires overhaul - new suite, install shower, tiling (3 walls and floor), towel rail. Possible new lighting and extractor fan. Set back toilet and sink into new worktop.

Comment D did everything promptly from the very beginning - even emailing me the quote on the same day as his initial visit. He always turned up on time, when he said he would. His quote was the cheapest by far, and he was very patient with my indecision - providing the right amount of advice but always listening to my opinion. He competely gutted my bathroom on day one but left the house so tidy I didn't know he had been! He estimated one week for the job, which turned out to not be long enough, so he came on a Sunday to finish off. My only quibble would be that I think he may have rushed a couple of little things towards the end in order to be finished on time - but nothing major. I have no hesitation in recommending him and would definitely use him again should I need any work doing. Jenny

Job Supply and fit shower, re -tile shower ( 10 sq mts tiles). Supply and fit shower door (instead of shower curtain). Supply and fit new work top (size 2 meters x 600). Supply and fit 10 sq meters of tiles (both wall and floor tiles.) New basin and toilet.(white) Supply and fit 2 pairs of cupboard doors. New chrome taps etc. Supply and fit chrome towel rail in place of central heating. Supply and fit spot lights. (approx 4)
