Reviews of Bathroom Specialists in St Pancras and Somers Town, Camden

I need a small toilet and basin to be installed into my flat. I've already got building control and permission from Camden Council who are the building freeholder. To create the room, an existing bedroom will be made smaller. A new doorway will need to be made in an existing wall. Waste pipes are right next to where the toilet will be installed already.
J&A did a wonderful job on my new bathroom. They weren't the cheapest quote on offer but after meeting them I was sure they'd do a great job. Friendly and discreet workmen, hardly noticed them most of the time. They had to build everything in the room since there was no bathroom before. Good attention to detail, made sure everything worked perfectly. Am very pleased to have found J&A and am already planning my next job with them. Highly recommended.

Existing bath very old and worn. New grouting needed on tiles. New shower needed and good quality extractor fan to be installed. Dripping taps need to be attended to and or removed and replaced.
Tomazs and his friend/ workman were really good. Punctuality is unusual in English workers. These guys are not English. They turned up when they said they would. They were clean and efficient. Anyone else who needs this kind of work should use them. Mary

I am very happy with the works done. Clear communication before and during the works. Works started on time and completed with the quoted timeframe. Price was as quoted and no hidden surprises. Will use again and will recommend. Glad I went with Building Block Ltd

Small bathroom. Need to get rid of bath and install a shower, as well as replace sink. The problem lies in our water pressure as we have little/no hot water pressure and so we will need someone who can heat the cold water electrically. We will also need a new toilet, floor & walls (tiles).
He is extremely deceitful it seems! Came across as a lovely character, quick to respond and very thorough. Kept in contact and was wonderful to deal with until a couple days before the job was meant to commence. We did not know what was going on and began calling and emailing him- to which we had no response. We thought perhaps he was very busy on another job and and decided to give him another week to contact us about beginning work the week after as previously agreed... no response. It soon became apparent that he no longer wanted the job for whatever reason, and that he was screening our calls. He did seem very young and inexperienced and in the end probably felt he took on a job too big for him to handle, which would be excuseable if he had the common decency to simply let us know. I am terribly sorry to leave bad feedback on someone who is blatantly just starting out but we had a very important deadline with our shower and needed to make it handicap accessable by a certain date, which now will be impossible to meet and has left me in a terrible position. He was aware of the dire necessity behind completing the job on time and yet did not have the courtesy to let us know he didnt want the job, instead he lead us on for over a month having us believe he would show up/get in touch by the agreed upon date. It would be a mistake to attempt to do business with this man as he is very untrustworthy and you would be setting yourself up for major disappointment.

My tiles have been leaking, and the bathroom is looking rather tired. I would like to retile around the bath (which has a shower over it, replace the toilet for a dual flush 4.5l model, and tile the floor. The box around the bath also needs to be rebuilt. I will keep the bath, basin, radiator and cabinet, but will also be putting in a new towel rail, loo roll holder and possible a couple of little shelves. The pipes need lagging. I am particularly interested in anyone with experience of creating eco-friendly bathrooms (minimising water use, using eco-friendly products etc). The bathroom is in a first floor flat, and has no external window. Small leaks to the downstairs flat have caused problems in the past, and my number one priority is to make sure that doesn't happen again.
Marcin is a perfectionist. He dealt with everything, and I had nothing to worry about, just a beautiful bathroom
