Job New bathroom installation needed for top floor flat in West Hampstead, London (NW6). This work will also include some building work as new dividing wall required between the bathroom and bedroom plus raising ceiling if possible to create better shower height (currently unable to stand fully underneath shower), plus may need to a change to the old pipe layout. Comment John and his team were truely excellent. We needed quite extensive building work which had scared away previous plumbers, whereas John relished the challenge and gave me several different design possibilities which were so much better than the original layout. The tradesmen worked to a really high standard, were punctual and always polite. The job went over our budget in the end due to extra work being needed but John gave me generous discounts to help us afford it. I recommend this company to all! Jane

Comment I can't say enough about what a good job Adam and his guys did on my bathroom. The finished room is brilliant but it was the attention to detail that impressed me much and the ease with which he spotted the source of my original problems and suggested a variery of solutions. Job We have a wetroom which has leaked in the past through much of the grouting. The problem was fixed with regrouting a year ago however appears to be resurfacing. Hence the job is to help asses the options which most likely will be redoing the wetroom or perhaps installing a custom made shower tray. Looking specially for people with wetroom installation experience rather than just plumber/handyman types and it's quite an involved job. Based in nw6.

Comment John and his team did a great job, bang on time and within budget. The set up is John does the consultation work with the client , the design work, all the purchasing and specs out the project. Then he sends in his team to do the manual labour part - the team are very techhnically skilled, however if there are complexities which might impact the project as its been spec'd - they then revert back to John. I thought the guys did a great job and for sure would use them again. I liked the fact that John is able to source everything i.e. tiles, taps etc at competitive prices, really takes the hassle out of the project & able to think creatively about the project. Bathroom renovation can be a nightmare and the fact the guys were so friendly , efficient and enthusiastic means i give them a 10/10 on the work they did for us. Alan

Comment If your thinking of using Shirelands for your Plumbing job.. then your thinking right. Shirelands installed a shower for me, it wasn't a big job for them a mixer shower off the combi boiler. Before I discovered 'Rated People' I had called a couple of companies on Google and they quoted me 800 pound me not knowing I thought that was fair.. till I looked on Rated People found Shirelands and ended up paying 335 pounds. John is an honest and decent man and a good trades man too. I highly recommend him. Don't just believe this review, call him and write your own review. Tim

Comment I was exceptionally pleased with the work that Valdex did when installing a wet room for me. They were very clean, vacuming frequently throughout the day to keep dirt and dust levels down. They also worked without a radio blaring and were very considerate ov erall. They took on the entirety of the required liaison with building suppliers, glaziers and other merchants supplying the various bits that were required for the job. They took very seriously my design ideas and gave advice when asked and were never phased when I changed plan. I would thoroughly recommend them for both their efficiency and courtesy. Dominic

Job 1) Small bathroom with only one toilet Here we need to fit a small white hand basin as it's not currently there and replace the old WC with a new one. 2) Bathroom without WC Here we would like to fit a toilet as at present there is only the sink and a bath. The waste pipe will need to come from the other small bathroom and given the set up of the building, it will need to run under the current floor. Given the alteration, the hot and cold water supplies will need to be fitted to the new bath.

Comment Jersey & Adriana came to our place to inspect our bathroom and discuss the requirements. Within 24 hours I got a quote from Adriana by email with all the relevant details plus the starting date. Jersey started the work and I can sincerely say that he did a brilliant job. We had to completely renovate our small bathroom including adding a small basin which wasn’t there. Jersey did all the plumbing, including moving the radiator to a different position. He fitted a new toilet and did all the tiling. I was promised attention to details and high standard quality service and this is exactly what we got. I strongly recommend hiring J&A as it can be quite daunting to find trusted tradesmen – especially in London - who can do a good job from start to end. The completion of our job was slightly delayed by approx. 1 week because Jersey had another job lined up. So the only recommendation that I would make is to ensure that he is committed to finish the job prior to starting a new one. Silvia
