installing a shower to a wet room with existing shower fittings but requires a new shower to be installed and ensure it is subject to approariate temperature.
Despite being a tricky job he stayed well beyong what was the estimated time of a Saturday to finish the job. Excellent work. David
Floor tiles are loose and cracked and need replacing. The shower unit needs to be fitted properly as I fitted it in an emergency and the toilet keeps leaking
I was very pleased with the quality of work that Martin and his dad did. They were very reliable and completed all the work to a very high standard at a good price. I will definitely recommend them and use them again.Emeric
3 parts to the job:
1. replace old sink with a new old
2. replace old taps with a new ones (one in bathroom and another in laundry room)
3. install shower wire baskets
Excellent service, reasonable rates and very professional. Excellent attitude towards unforeseen challenges to the job (vs initial expectation). Think outside the box to find the right solution for the job. Also had a mindset of looking to fix the problem by replacing spare parts rather asking to buy a new set/unit -- this minimised waste, ensure less disruption/alternation to the original design and lastly but not least, translated into considerable savings. Will definitely keep contact and will be our first choice for plumbing work in the future.Aquico
all existing fittings will need to be removed. there is an stink pipe inside the bathroom (as it was on an outside wall) that also needs to be removed. additionally an RSJ needs to be put in so that the end of a partially removed chimney stack can also be removed.
Ludvik and team did a fantastic job on my bathroom and were open minded to over coming a few little difficulties along the way. Ludvik has a good eye for design which helped make sense of the ideas that i had. I would say that one area which could have been improved is in terms of a few finishing touches (i am a perfectionsit though!) and communication; we had one small misunderstanding though throughout the job Ludvik had been quick to respnd to messages and follow up if necessary. All in all a great job and i would reccomend them to anyone.Sarah
bathroom is on first floor of house, approx 3metres square, half walls tiled.
-remove and dispose of existing suite and tiles and floor carpet.
-install new suite: wc, sink, bath with new shower.
-Tile floor and two walls.
-remove and dispose existing radiator. Install heated towel rail.
-Install new bathroom cabinet.
We are open to either buying new suite, tiles etc ourselves, or sourcing them from installer. Please advise on i) price including parts and labour and ii) labour only.
Excellent service from Onyx. Our bathroom was completed smoothly and exactly as we'd hoped. If we ended up going slightly over budget it was because Onyx kept coming up with ways to make our bathroom even better.
Many thanks to Azur, Spencer and Az for great service and advice on everything from design to buying materials.
I've already recommended Onyx to friends and family. I'm happy to do the same to anyone using ratedpeople. James
i just need someone to put up a glass shower curtain - my shower is in the bath.
If you could also get the glass, that would be great - I guess you'd need to come round and measure.
Nice guy, did a great job, good value, I would definitely use him again.Charlie

Reinstalling a shower. The shower is a room coner type with two tiled walls and two glass walls including the entry. Tiles have come away at the base of the walling above the shower tray. The rear surface they were attached too has clearly rotted. The attachment for the shower glass door on one side is loose and will need fixing securely.

I would like to have the floor of my bathroom tiled (there is currently lino down), and also have the bath/shower tiled.
I would also like to have spotlights installed in the ceiling of the bathroom, and have my kitchen floor tiled too.

We are looking for someone to complete an almost complete bathroom make over after damage has occurred from the above flat. The work will include re-tiling the room from floor to ceiling, re-plaster the ceiling, moving the sink, new toilet and installing new taps and fixtures. Bath is the only thing to remain in place. We have no time limit to have the work complete, but hoping to get quotes ASAP. If possible, there is also an adjoining wall that needs re-plastering.

I have an ongoing problem with water going from the shower in my flat through the neighbours flat below.
I have had this repaired twice by two different hanydmen

I think I may need to take a different approach this time and an considering claiming on the the insurance.
