I am looking for a professional tradesman to undertake full refurbishment of two bathrooms including removing and disposal of current units and tiles, and installation of bathstore units and tiling. Bathroom 1 - shower cubicle, shower unit, back to wall WC unit, wall hung basin unit, mirror, ceramic wall and floor tiles; size 7 feet x 6 feet. Bathroom 2 - bathtub, shower unit, back to wall WC unit, wall hung basin unit, mirror, marble wall and floor tiles; size 6 feet x 6 feet. At the quotation stage Omar was hands-on in actually breaking open a box to assess whether pipes could be relocated. Once selected, he diligently went about installing the units and tiles in both bathrooms. I found him very knowledgeable and did not hesitate to discuss design aspects such as changing the layout, installing a sliding door etc. His attention to detail and drive for perfection are qualities that I haven't come across in other bathroom specialists. However, this, and the fact that he had to work with large marble and tough italian porcelain tiles meant a delay in completion of the refurbishment. That said, the results are fantastic and we are absolutely overjoyed with how both bathrooms have turned out. Great workmanship for which I cannot highly recommend Omar for any full bathroom refurbishment works.

Design was good, bath suite lovely but company was unreliable and failed to complete agreed snags list (from last year) or honour guarantees / warranties after giving them ample opportunity to make good electrical problems with bathroom for instance. We have all email correspondence and feel there has been more than a generous opportunity for company to redeem themselves, anythign we fix now resultantyly will be at our own cost.

Old tiles and suite to be removed then new ones installed. I haven't purchased the new suit or tiles yet. Looking for a modern clean lookwith attention to detail as do not like sloppy tiling.
Roger at SQD was the first to respond to the rated people request, he turned up at the agreed time the following day and gave some good ideas. SQD's quote was competitive and they could accommodate the tight timeframes that I needed to work within. Along with Roger the real stars were the fitters Gary & Errol, they worked hard, were polite, tidy and real pleasure to deal with. I would and already have recommended SQD.
