Budget excludes shower unit which may be a Triton 10.5Kw Aspirante Topaz. Dedicated 16mm wiring & MCB is in place from CU ready for connection to isolation switch and on to shower. Mains water supply (currently capped)with isolator valve in roof space above and close to shower site. Existing tiling in bathroom where the shower is to be sited, but some spare tiles available to replace any that have to be removed. Prior to installing the current mixer shower there was an electric shower so some original chasing may still be accessible. Willing to undertake further chasing & tiling myself if this reduces significantly the cost.
Some initial problems with communication (I think this upsets people more quickly than anything else) and installation. However, once communication was made, all the stops were pulled out to rectify matters as quickly as possible which in the end produced a timely and totally satisfactory job. If it had not been for these initial issues, I would have given 5 stars for quality and reliability.

Excellent - did all jobs required, was tidy and on budget. Have recommended him to my nan for some work she needs doing too!

Remove exising shower cubicle and shower fittings. Tile/panel walls behind cubicle and install new quadrant cubicle. Install new shower mixer tap and showerhead. I have a new shower cubicle, shower tray, new shower mixer, head and fittings. sealing the tiles in the shower has been a problem in the past I am therfore inclined to have panels on the two walls behind the cubicle. The shower tray will need to be let into the floor 50mm because of height restriction in the room. I was going to carry out this work myself which is why I have the cubicle and fittings but am unable to do so now because of illness.
