Fitting a new bath/shower, double sink and toilet. Also tiling around the bath.
Steve fitted a new bath and shower, double sink and toilet, including tiling and coving in about a week and I was very happy with the quality of the work. He was very tidy and was a one stop shop as he was able to fit an extractor fan and a electirc mirror, so no need for an electrician. I definitely recommend him and will certainly think about using him again for future work.

This tradesman gave me a quoted price after a lengthy discussion of what i wanted doing, he suggested I would need only to pay a third upfront he would do the job and I would pay two thirds on completion. He spent alot of time disappearing, he did an amazingly shoddy job. the tiling, ceiling and plumbing are substandard. The job was not finished and after a week and a half and nagging me for more money every day he snuck off from the job when I was out. He caused a flood in my kitchen, ruined my ceiling, damaged a door frame, put tiles on crooked and badly. The loo works periodically, the lights sometimes wont switch on, the bath leaks.. and none of the jobs were finished. He didnt install shower although he had taken money that day to go buy one, the room looks like an old bomb shelter. Im devastated.

Updated : Convert understairs cupboard into toilet Original : Hi I have already stripped the plaster back to the brick and had a new window fitted. I have also purchased the basin and toilet. The water pipe will need to go through one wall from the washing machine pipe in the utiility next door. I would also need a gas pipe moving down to the floor so it can get boxed in with the water pipe to the basin and toilet. There is already a light in the room so I would like two spots fitted (already purchased). The floor is already tiled and we will fit a Lino floor once we have decorated. Most of the work will involve plaster boarding the walls, plumbing the toilet and sink, moving gas pipe, boxing the pipes, skirting boards, plaster board ceiling put in with 2 spots, fitting a new door, and creating a small hatch to get to the gas meter (as small partition wall will separate main cupboard to small bit at the foot of the stairs,. The toilet waste will go straight out the external wall and to the soil pipe about 2meters away and will have a downward slope. We will pay for all materials up front.
