Reviews of Bricklayers in Bath, Avon

We have a Bath stone wall c 6ft high x c 7 ft wide in the garden which needs either repairing or rebuilding. We need the work done within the next week if at all possible.
Nick and Neill were absolutely brilliant. Their quote was one of the cheapest we received yet they were willing to work out a way with us of reducing their costs further to fit within our budget. To do this they gave us guidance on how to do some of the time-consuming work ourselves so that they could then concentrate on just the things that really needed their high levels of skill. And they even loaned us the tools we needed! Fantastic flexibility - and a high quality outcome! Highly recommended.

Our garden has some steps made from breeze blocks with cut-down paving slabs on for treads. One of the paving slabs has cracked and fallen apart and the cement is falling out of some of the other ones. I'm looking for somebody to get hold of a couple of paving slabs, re-do the broken tread and tidy up the rest of the cement work. Can provide pics if necessary.
Brilliant. Exactly what we needed. Very quick and clean. Thanks.

Small job. 2-3 feet of raking out and re pointing. By upstairs bedroom window. Ladder required.
A small job about which you cannot say a lot. I can't fault the guy. He came out twice. The first time after the internet instruction, he was not happy that he could see what needed to be done. He came back when I was present. That was honest and straight forward.

At the entrance to our home we have a brick build pillar. A delivery van hit it hard and 2/3 of the way down the pillar the mortar bond has been broken, the pillar is still upstanding! This I presume the pillar will need a new mortar bond and this implies defragmenting the pillar and rebuilding it with new mortar.
He did what he said he would do, the job was to a good standard. Will employ him again for more work.

I am taking out a window and putting in some patio doors and also taking out the old back door and replacing it with a window. I have someone to put in the doors and window for me, but I'm looking for someone who can knock out the old stones (it's a somerset cottage) and then make good once the patio doors are in, also, someone to brick up (with stone) where the back door had been once the new window is in place. May suit someone looking for a couple of extra days work over a weekend or a day per weekend over two weekends. I have a photo of the job which I can email if that helps.
