Brick pillar fell down, needs rebulding and metal gate reattached
Timing: ASAP
Very polite, good value but needs to communicate a little better as I didnt hear from them for a week so I didnt know whether they wanted the job. Overall happy with building work done.Sarah
About 10 metres in total, only three or four courses to edge a path at the rear of the house up to a slightly higher grass level. I have new bricks left over from an extension. There will be a small amount of digging out to create the space at the edge of the path (take the lawn back about six inches and small foundation). I don't currently have any coping stones for the top of the small wall, but would be willing to source & supply. The job is in south Milton Keynes (Kents Hill). Many Thanks.
I am delighted to be able to recommend Del wholeheartedly.
A smallish job - a small wall around a path in the garden & to extend the path accross the garden to a patio area.
Neat work, done in the timescales agreed, cleaned up well after the job, very friendly and helpful.
Del wasn't actually the cheapest, but he gave me the most confidence that he knew what he was doing & discussed the details of the job in a way that I felt I would get quality.
We did get quality, and will certainly keep his details.Stuart
Top layer of bricks on garden wall were placed using sand by previous owner. Needs to be completed with concreted. No bricks needed. Wall height no more than 4 feet high and approx 40 yards long. NB Bricks presented 'end ways' as opposed to 'length was'.
Adrian was the first to respond to the bid and was very professional throughout. I would definately recommend him.tony
Upper part of wall to be taken down to street level and rebuilt. Old bricks to be skipped and taken away. Wall 10metres long and varies in height from 60cm (2ft) high to 80cm (2ft 8 in) high. Total new bricks approx 310.
A top quality job started and finished exactly when agreed, the site was left in clean and tidy condition and the work was finished to a high standard. good value too.
I would recommend this tradesman.Michael
I have knocked the rendering off a chimney breast to expose the brickwork, but the fireplace used to house a floor-standing boiler (since been removed and re-sited) and the brickwork on the inside of fireplace (just the right hand side) needs repair - There's a few bricks missing where they've run the pipework to the old boiler, and there has been some patchy repairs made. I need the old part-bricks and mortar removed, and the brickwork made good. The area is only approximately 0.5m x 1m, but there are a couple of other sections of brickwork on the fireplace that need to pointing touching up, where the mortar has come away with the rendering.
Excellent! Prompt and regular contact made, Simon turned up precisely on time and did a great job at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend, and shall be using him again. Cheers.john
A competitive quote was provided. The job was to re-errect a garden wall. This was carried out as per spec and within time as the work was considered urgent. I would have no hesitation in using the same company again. Paul
Repoint the corner of an old outbuilding where the mortar is crumbling and a few bricks (soft reds) will need replacing. The wall extends 2m in each direction from the corner and is 6ft high with 2 small windows, and 10ft high as the wall rises up to the pitch roof above the door. The windows need repainting too and a sill filling (if possible to do as part of the job). Possibly lime mortar is needed and as close to original colour as possible.
