Unsold Job, Updated Details : We'd like a (reclaimed) brick and flint wall along two edges of our garden. This is: c.9.5m in one length (along the edge of the drive) with an adjoining 6.75m along another length (around a 90 degree corner). We'd like it to be about the same height as the neighbours wall on the opposite side of the driveway, which is 97 cm PLUS another c.15cm of curved top bricks on top of this (so about 112cm height altogether), but we understand that curved bricks are particularly expensive so we are interested in an alternative finish along the top. We have salvaged a large pile of flints from our garden re landscaping and excavations beneath our house, which we are keen to incorporate into the wall, along with bricks so as a) to match the brick and flint style of the house and be in keeping with the area; and b) to save on the cost of materials (bricks) - although we appreciate that incorporating flints as well as bricks into the wall might add to the labour costs. We are interested in quotes both for a wall using a) reclaimed bricks and the flint; and b) reclaimed bricks only. We do not have a fixed idea of the design/style of the flint panels, but we are happy for them to be small and simple, and the wall dominantly brick, so as to keep labour costs down. The wall will not replace anything, currently the driveway just edges onto the grass of the 'garden' (rough grass). We can probably source reclaimed bricks ourselves via ebay (or similar) but do not know about the quantity needed, so we would be interested in hearing an idea of costs for a) labour only and b) labour plus materials Original : We'd like a (reclaimed) brick and flint wall along two edges of our garden.
