"This started out as a simple quote to brick up a garage door, but when I met Richard and his brickie Gary and explained that I was hoping to convert the garage into a gym, and apart from the brickwork I was going to do the rest myself. Richard gave me a quote that matched the materials I was planning to use and he said it would take a week, which made it financially sensible to let Richard do the entire job and save me the time and effort. I did ask Richard to fit a uPVC door and window for me, as an extra, which in fairness to him it is not something that he is used. This showed in the attention to the final detail which was a little lacking as it was all a little rushed as it was the last day. To Richards credit when those issues were pointed out he readily made them good, but maybe in hindsight I should have challenged Richard as to his experience in this aspect of building work before hand, so this should not detract others from the recommendation that follows. I cannot rate Gary's brick work highly enough, I have seen some very bad examples of brick laying, but Gary is the consummate professional and clearly takes pride in his work and has a natural skill as a brick layer, his skill is so good that you would almost think that there never used to be a garage door where their is a perfectly blended in wall. Additionally Richard is as an accomplished carpenter, utilising only the best materials to ensure longevity and energy efficency. I cannot in any way fault RG Carpentry in the building work, carpentry or the wooden floor Richard laid for me. RG Carpentry was a very pleasant team of guys to work with and I have no hesitation in recommending them or indeed using them again for future building projects. Sav K "
