Brickwork at the bottom of the house needs repointing & in some cases repair. Mice have burrowed under an old back step & gotten into the house. Old stone steps to be replaced with a new brick step.
A decent man. Came to look at the job & did exactly as he said. Left everything clean & tidy at the end of his work. Very pleased & would use this company again. Thank you Mark.

The property is a a two storey semi detached house. The gable end and front and back of the house need pointing. Possibly the bricks over the top of the gable end window and side window and porch may need to be fitted with new bricks. Sorry, I can't give the size of the job to be done. Before pointing can begin other preliminary work might be necessary concerning the path to be taken up that is abut to the gable end, front and back. As the path might need to be taken up before pointing work can be conducted because access to the foundation brickwork could be impeded because the path is in close proximity to this level of brickwork. Therefore, the start date of the pointing could depend if whether the path needs to be taken up first to reach the foundation brickwork below the path if the pointing has deteriorated in this location.

We have had Woodlands builders (Skemersdale) start a re pointing job and after 4 days have walked off the job! They said they are not making enough money on it! Therefore, I need someone who will finish what they started, (Ideally ASAP) We asked them to do the front and side. They have grinded out most of the old mortar and re pointed the top off the front of the house.
