We have a large wooden gate for our car port. The brick wall has started to crumble on one side where the hinge of the gate is attached and we need the wall repairing.
Excellent job - first class service - would definitely use again!Jan

Never bothered to turn up after agreeing price and start date!! Very poor serviceMichael
The area I am most worried about is on the outside wall of of the upstairs bathroom. I believe damp is getting into the bricks from both inside (shower) and outside so want to get the outside watertight so I can repair the inside.
I'd like you to evaluate the whole back of the house though as it is all very tired.
I have a Wimpey built semi-detached house from 1966.
On the edgeof the roof, the tiles sit on top of the side wall with a cement filling to hold them in place.
The cement filling is falling away with age. I would like the old cement removed and replaced with new.
Even though it is two storey, the roof line begins at ground floor ceiling height and carries up to the height of a typical house. I would say the length (from start to apex back down) is approximately 20 meters. The height of the cement fill is between 1 and 1.5 inches and the depth is around an inch.
Fast, efficient, good value for money. Good work standard. Will definately use again.Darren
we have a proportion of garden wall that needs rebuilding (repair), we would like to arrange this to be done as soon as possible you will have to provide all bricks, cements etc.approx 6 foot wide portion of wall.
I was very pleased with this firm. They came when they said they would and did a very good job. The work was carried out with minimum disruption and they left the site very clean and tidy.
I would have no hesitation in using them again. William

I have a property on a "Private Road" where we are all responsable for upkeep of the front part of our gardens. I have a private parking spot out the front & it's become worn & muddy -especially this time of year.
The area very approx is square: 3m x 4m -very roughly. I'd like the get this area tarmac'd, so the area is clean & tidy again as i'm bringing in mud indoors!

Here are the comments from the survey: A quote is required with the view to undergo the work asap. The property has conventional brick faced cavity walls. There is minor cracking running through mortar joints above and below windows to the rear elevation.. This is attributed to work undertaken when the windows were changed. I think it unlikely that there will be any further, serious movement and further investigation is not considered necessary. It is advisable to repoint the open joints to keep them water tight. The cavity walls of this property are formed in two leaves which are usually held together with metal wall ties. The metal ties used in properties built before 1981 were prone to corrosion which, if significant, could lead to structural movement. No visible sign of wall tie failure were found, but, the pointing to the gable apex is poor. This is the most exposed part of the elevation and where the mortar has weathered the wall ties might have been exposed. Under the circumstances, I recommend you to instruct a specialist to examine the wall ties, provide a report and estimates and carry out repairs as necessary. It appears that cavity wall insulation has been introduced since original construction. We refer you to our comments in Section I2 in respect of guarantees for this work. DAMP PROOF COURSE (dpc) The original walls contain a bitumastic dampproof course. Ground clearance should be in the region of 150mm. This has been reduced to the front and rear corners and bridged by a raised bed to the front wall. Where this has been reduced or bridged, there is a risk of dampness. It is important to maintain the other parts of the building, such as guttering, to Ground clearance should be in the region of 150mm. Where this has been reduced there is a risk of dampness. It is important to maintain the other parts of the building, such as guttering, to ensure oversaturation of the wall does not occur. A vertical membrane should be present where the dpc is bridged. As no damp was detected, work to improve the clearance is not considered essential. There is a plastic dpc to the extension. Ground clearance has been reduced but, again, no damp was detected.
