Tree root damage to low front garden wall. A corner pillar has sustained a large crack, It is quite a low wall but a significant part will need replacing. I need a quote to forward to Council Insurance Services Many thanks Maria Conti
Set in Stone removed a very badly damaged wall caused by the undermining of tree roots. The wall was quickly demolished, enormous roots removed and a very solid and carefully constructed wall erected in place. All works completed with competence, speed and good humour. Highly recommended. I hope to have them return for further work.Maria

My front garden wall has been pushed down. The mortar was probably old, so it must have come down easily. I suspect some party-goers after a bash nearby. It is down to the bottom row of stone bricks. There were five rows of stone-like "bricks", about 12" x 5', plus white-painted capstones. The wall is about 10 ft long, reaching from my gate to my neighbour's wall. (My piece of wall on the other side of my gate is still intact.)
I would like, please, an estimate, including whether the capstones can be repaired (one at least is broken)

I have a 5ft high garden wall (60ft long) seemingly very old and made of cobbles/rubble and cement behind a rendered surface. It is crumblings in several places and needs some serious repair if possible... perhaps even a 2-5 year fix..
