The terrace is approx 5m by 3.5m with four shallow steps of 2.5m long rising from the terrace to the grass level. The retaining wall is a course of 8 bricks high around the terrace, using reclaimed London stock bricks which we will provide.
Barry Scutts has built us a beautiful terrace and steps using reclaimed Yorkstone. Barry's quote was reasonable and he is very punctual and reliable. He is extremely conscientious and very easy to have around. We would recommend him wholeheartedly.

Bricklayer / Pointer required Balham SW12 South West London for the following: - Reset bricks and tiles on top of 6 wall pillars. 3 bricks on top of each pillar with 2 layers of tiles underneath. The cement has come away from the bricks. - Re-point around 25m each side (50m in total) of a strip of cement between the tiles that form the top of the wall, where the cement has fallen away due to frost damage. The rest of the wall is sound. - Render 1/2 square metre of wall under the garden path step. You will need to provide the sand / cement / tools etc. There are a spare bricks and tiles should any need replacing. Payment for the work will be made by BACS transfer. Invoicing details will be provided.
Work carried out promptly to a high standard - and left no mess.
