We need to build up a part of our garden wall, and make some inbuilt seating and render the whole wall and seating area. it is a small garden.
he was a very good brick layer and did a great job in our garden, but he was not at all good at other work he agreed to do. it was very difficult to communicate with him, partly his poor English and partly I think he is not a communicator, did not explain the process to me, would not let me know whether they were coming or not etc.

Construction of new length of cavity wall 900mm wide and around 2.8m high as an extension to an exisitng external wall. Detail of the new wall is subject to agreement with building control but is likely to consist of 103mm stock brick outer leaf, 80mm cavity including 50mm celotex PIR insulation and 100mm block inner leaf. Cristian and his team completed our small piece of brick walling and associated building works in a very competent manner. He was professional, punctual and courteous throughout and we would have no hesitation in employing him again.

Hello, We have a garden wall which has fallen over. It's not a large area, possibly 4 square metres, I've calculated it to be approximately 260 bricks. But my neighbours garden is on a higher level and we'd probably need to make a proper foundation this time so that it doesn't tilt and fall over again. The bricks are Funton and can only be purchased in packs of 500. Maybe you'd need the rest of them for an other job? Kind regards, Jenny

My front garden wall has been damaged and needs repairing. The bricks are all in tact, but the top layer has come loose and needs rejoining to the bottom of the wall. It is approx 3m long.
Shawn did a really great job, he was approachable and understood what we needed. i would definitely recommend Shawn to other people and would use him again.

property on ground level so no need for scaffolding etc. Small amount of repointing needed at front of property (approx 2 sq. m). Entire garden boundry wall needs repointing (approx 16 sq m in total)

Brick pier 3'9" tall x 9" x 9" to be demolished and rebuilt in new position at edge of concrete drive creating approx 10" wider gateway. Existing wrought iron gates to be scrapped.
Nice bloke, did what was asked, no problems.

A 4 storey house (built in 1862), converted into 4 flats in need of repointing work. The house is painted white and was redecorated in 2010. The pointing was supposed to have been done at the same time however it has now come to light that this work was not fit for purpose and as a result the house is suffering from damp. There is a damp survey which can be provided to give more detail.

my garden wall has fallen down. it is approx 30 feet long, and 3 foot high single skin with a decorative layer at the top. i have cleared some of it, the rest needs removing, and a new wall building to replace it. we have the old bricks (london stock) i am not sure if they can be reused.

Small terraced Victorian house. The original cast iron downpipe from roof level (1st floor) to the ground needs replacing with a modern plastic one. It also needs to be joined to the guttering/downpipe from the bay window. The gutter (1st floor roof level) may need realigning to slope towards the downpipe (I can't tell if it is correctly sloped or not - there are drainage issues though these may be caused by the downpipe being blocked). In addition, the wall fronting the property (single brick width 2 columns (1 and1/2 bricks wide/deep)) needs to be knocked down and replaced with a reclaimed London stock brick wall. This wall is approx 11 feet long and 3-4 feet high. The same process for the wall between this and the adjacent property (approx 4 feet long and 2 feet high currently) so that the two walls match. I would like the tradesman to source and supply the materials. Thank you
