We need the whole of our three bedroom house repointing. We require the old render taking out and then refilling, not just going over what is already there.
This builder didnt turn up on the day. We waited in, no phone call or anything. The following day they called to let us know something came up. We didnt use them in the end.

Updated : the wall is between my house and the neighbours, they have pointed it out to me. the wall is about 10-12 ft. i am also interested in some pointing done on the house Original : wall bowing, need advice as to what to do
What a gem Tom is, very reliable, clean and good professional. The price quoted was very competitve. Would have no hesitation in recommending him for any brickwork jobs. Excellent worker. I needed a wall taken down and re built.

Front wall under window of a bungalow has a movement crack that generally follows the mortar line but has also split a couple of bricks. I have a survey report which requires the wall have cavity wall ties inserted and the brickwork repaired/replaced. I require a bricklayer to do this work as neatly as possible; ie matching the bricks and mortar to the original.
Woodlands contacted my quickly and he came out the next day to quote. Although he used a sub-contractor the job was within budget, better than I anticipated this repair would be and done very quickly. I would recommed this company based on my experience. Excellent job!

Need a quote to supply the bricks and lay a built in BBQ, large with chimney and two burning places (one for wood and the other charcoal). Work can be done on weekends and evenings.
Mark offered a fair and reasonable quotation, which I accepted and he started the next day. His time keeping has been very good, his work excellent and he has been very neat and organised during the works. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mark, if fact I already have another job for him.

10 foot long wall to rebuild.
Both walls rebuilt/repaired at a convenient time to a good standard and also repaired a man hole cover and grid.

Total repointing to front of Victorian Accrington brick semi-detached house and small adjoining wall
Steve turned up exactly when he said he would to provide the estimate. When we asked him to do the work he again turned up on time and despite some appalling weather that meant he had to hold off for a couple of days he finished quickly and did a brilliant job. He also left things clean when he finished. I would have no hesitation in recommending Steve to anybody. Good work at a very fair price.

Semi detached 2 bed bungalow, scaffolding probably not required
I found Mark to be an extremely professional and likeable person; he explained how he was going to go about the job, kept me informed as the job progressed. Gave us a choice of mortar colours which in his professional opinion would match the brickwork. Turned up on time, and worked hard. The result is that the bungalow has been repointed completely and unlike some repointing jobs were the render turn grey we have a repointing job that complements the building colour and looks more like a new build that a repointing job. I would highly recommend Mark and will be using his services again.

The gap is 132 cm wide and the brick (single) arch will be approx.7ft high. A wooden gate will be required and an electric cable secured. No scaffolding required
Dion and Sam were excellent. Their work has been complimented by numerous of our friends and other visitors who have seen the gate and the brick arch they built. As with many jobs of this nature there are always hiccups, however, whatever changes we brought to Dion's attention were quickly rectified. Overall delighted we gave the job to Dion

Repointing around 8-9m2 to the rear of semi detatched house. This is from ground level to the top of the downstairs windows. No downpipes etc to remove.
Fantastic! Pointing work done to a very high standard and a good price too. Very reliable, turned up exactly on time. Very proffesional service, I would recommend to anyone requiring building services. I'm sure we will be calling him again soon. A great bloke too. Thanks Dave. The work was much appreciated...especially so close to christmas and in that weather!

Rendering had 'blown' and has been removed from garden wall 3 and a half metres by 1 and a half metres (approx). Exposed wall is in bad state - house and wall (probably) built in 1897! Would ideally like brickwork to remain exposed, but am being told that wall needs to be re- rendered. There must be ways of saving these old walls - without it costing an arm and a leg????!!

Unsold Job, Updated Details : All the old pointing needs replacing at the back of our terraced house. Work had been done before we moved in where an extension was added and the original kitchen door was moved so there are areas where the pointing is a lot newer and seems ok. As for the front of the house, again most of the brick work is fine but there are bits that need filling in Original : outside pointing front and back'
