The house dates from 1850 and was originally built with Norfolk Red bricks and lime mortar. The house has since been re-pointed on one wall with a modern mortar which is unsuitable leading to internal damp and blown brick faces. The wall is 4m wide by 7m high with a pitched gable to the top 2m and requires raking out and re-pointing with a lime mortar. Some bricks also need replacing.
