Unsold Job, Updated Details : I would like the work force to provide the materials and any advice necessary. The brick gate post is approx 1.5m high and a 4 brick square. This can be a new installation, modification or repair. I am prepared to go above £1000 if the work force deems that it would be necessary. Original : 1. Repair/replace brick gatepost which supports large wooden gate. Gate post is attached to stone wall. Re-point stone wall. 2. Repair/replace a concrete section of path. Dimensions 4.5m x 2m x 150cms.
I was delighted with the excellent job which ds joinery and builder did. The boss, Drew, is an excellent craftsman who has great experience and knowledge of his trade enabling him to arrive at the best solutions. The members of Drew's workforce were polite and worked together harmoniously and responded well to the advice being given by their boss. I make no hesitation in recommending ds builders to others who may require their services.

Part of a Fife stone garden wall came down in the storm and needs rebuilt using existing stone. Another part of the wall and a pillar need to be taken down and rebuilt using existing stone due to them leaning in towards the garden.
Billy Watson replied promptly to my request and, as he was local, came to view the job within the hour. Again, when we were ready to go ahead with the job, he came to check the site that day and arranged to come back next day to rebuild the wall using the existing Fife stone. He came with a colleague and together they did the work in a very professional manner and tidied everything up neatly on completion. They did a first class job and were totally reliable.
