I have one section of garden wall which is approx.7 feet high and 6 feet wide.Three rows of bricks about 1 foot from the ground are in varying stages of crumbling and is attracting local kids to kick at it and make it worse. My concern is that it could collapse and possibly do serious damage to a passer-by.
Jim was extremely helpful with advise on how to resolve my problem. His price for the work was good and he carried it out quickly and efficiently. I have no problem with recommending him and would use him again if the need arose.George
3 brickwork steps outside back door are crumbling due to age and weather - house built approx 1930's. Old steps need removing and replacing with new.
Also three and a half old metal downspouts are corroding and need replacing with new plastic ones.
Would want tradesman to supply all material.
Professional from start to finish, quality of work excellent, competitive prices, always turned up and returned calls when he said he would. Also did a couple of extra minor jobs without charging! Highly reccommended.David
Front Garden currently measures 5 metres from pavement to house with a 1 metre drop. It runs roughly 6 metres in width in front of the house with steps to the side climbing up to the pavement.
Would appreciate advise and quotes for brick constuction retaining wall to be built to pavement level or if was built to 0.5 metre high (still with some slope).
Also would be interested in discussing the possibility of using sleepers as opposed to brick if more cost efficient.
Thanks
Excellent, highly recommend. A quality jod done at great value. Nick was open & honest from the start, and had plenty of ideas for how to get the job done within our budget. We're really happy with the quality of our rendered retaining wall, it makes a huge difference to the front of our property. Nick clearly knows what he is doing!
Nick and the lads worked long and hard days in some horrible conditions, always punctual and always smiling. We'll definitely be keeping hold of Nick's phone number for any future work that we may need doing.Dan
I need a small, single layer garden wall building. It's no more than 20ft in length (I can be more accurate when I find my tape measure!). It will need to be able 1 - 3 foot high in order for decking to rest on top of it. It's basically a wall to rest decking on - the other side will rest on the house. I've already dug a hole for the footings!

Our 70's block wall is now slanting because the cement is no longer holding it together. It runs the length of our garden and our neighbours. It needs taking down, which won't be a problem because it's all loose, and then re-laying and re-cementing.

Taking out a front door plus a full length window (from floor to ceiling 1.400m wide) replacing with new door and a small sidlight (300m wide and full height 2100mm) then bricking up the empty space(130 house bricks plus breeze blocks to tie in its about 1.1m wide and 2100 high) once this is done I am then building 2 studded walls one with a door frame once this is done The walls only will need plastering (not the ceiling) Would be great if you could do both
