Reviews of Bricklayers in Suffolk

Falkenham, IP10

Under £4,000
Repointing and replacement of damaged bricks to the front and one end elevation of a cottage built around 1750. Mixture of bricks including some soft suffolk reds. Estimate 150 bricks to be replaced (sourcedby you or me, don't mind). Will involve some minor excavation (a strip about 900mm wide x 300mm or so deep) as some of the work to be done is below current ground level. If you can sawcut tarmac to tidy up the other edge of that strip, it would help. Looking for cost advice and a potential contractor to start the job this spring.
I will be using Wayn's company again. Very pleased with his work and approach.

The front garden boundary wall has a large crack in it and I am unsure that repairing it is a viable option. There is a conifer in the garden which I fear is undermining the wall's foundations and would also need to be removed. The job would be to repair or replace the wall and to rehang the existing wrought iron gates. The job is in Ipswich but I need to travel from Beccles for the quote appointment as my mother is elderly and quite deaf.
Very pleasant to do business with. Punctual, hard working and made a great job of the wall repair. Would recommend and would use again.

Very pleased with the work that was carried out. He made the most out of using the older style materials(york stone and suffolk reds). Very polite and punctual. Cleaned up every night. Overall a real tradesman and have already recommended to others.
