We need our fire place opening up to accomodate a log burner. This will entail taking out current firebricks and extending the opening further, a new standard concrete lintal, fitting the stone (already purchased) inner hearth covering with heat resistant render inside and around the front of the fire place and heatproof plaster on the outside of the fireplace. THe job is already planned and measurements marked up on the wall, but i'd rather have a professional do the job. This would take up to a day to do.
