Reviews of Bricklayers in Parklands, Newcastle upon Tyne
8 January 2012
During the stormy weather this week water leaked into my attic around both the my chimneys. The first chimney is shared with my neighbours so only half would need repairing. This chimney leaked down one side when wind was lashing water against it and I don't think it has leaked before so I think some of the flashing might have lifted. The other chimney is leaked at one corner, but must have been leaking for a while as the wood underneath has rotten. I think that either the flashing has lifted or perhaps a small piece is missing.
Repaired the flashing around my chimney and pointed the ridge tiles.
Steve was professional and really friendly to deal with, and even did the job on a Sunday knowing my roof was leaking! The work was excellent and stopped the leak, and the price was really competitive.
When he first came out to quote for the job he dismissed a lot of the pricier work which other roofers had told me needed doing. I really like this honesty, as getting a tradesmen you can trust is a rare thing, but I definitely trusted his recommendation.
I would use Steve again and would definitely recommend him!James

The brickwork above our garage door is crumbling, and need to be replaced. I am looking for someone to provide the bricks and carry out the work. The house is 1930s red brick, and the wall is 10 rows of bricks high, by approx. 11 bricks wide.
