Unsold Job, Updated Details : I have been asked to provide a 'budget' but what I want are quotes for the job. I simply require realistic quotes. Original : Repointing of a semi-detatched brick-buit semi with integral garage. Half rendered with pebble dash finish. Stone facing stones on the front of the property.
I originally asked for someone to point the house. I finished up with a fantastic Indian Stone hard standing and patio - all at a very economical price. Sam and his team put in a great deal of effort, and my wife and I are very satisfied with the outcome. A fifteen year guarantee is an an additional bonus, and I would recommend A1 as a very satisfactory and helpful business.

I don't usually use comparison websites (in most cases they are just another finger in the pie!) but this one really serves a purpose. I chose Ray because of his good reviews and can only echo what has already been said about him. Good communication, all promises kept on time and job finished to a good professional standard. Pointing in traditional hand worked weather bond with a darker grey colour so mortar will probably need be colour matched. Easy access to all areas

Really pleased with his work, tidy job, came when he said he would, very reasonable price. Would use again.

Paul was great! Once I accepted his quote he called to give me updates on when he'd be with me. Once he started the job, he was always there when he said he'd be and did a really good job. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Paul to anyone and would certainly use him again in the future. He also cleaned up after the job and made sure everything was ok. Big thumbs up!

Updated : I've really no idea what this sort of job costs and I've therefore no budget - just want it done!! Original : Stone built 3 bedroom bungalow needs repointing. Parts of the wall plus gable ends are rendered and painted - also needing some attention but repointing of the stonework is the main thing. Shouldn't need scaffolding as the stonework is not high (may need a stepladder to reach some parts of the frontage). Can send photos if required.
